its not hard, all u have to do is scotch brite them f'ers. And then lightly put on ur first coat, then go a lil heavier on ur second. Its all good
thats what i did. picked up 2 cans of the paint and 1 can of clear. turned out great. I first cleaned all the dirt off them. then i used a red scuff pad, after that i just painted light coats till i was happy. then i put 3 coats of clear. I think i did something like 5 or 6 coats a wheel of paint cause it was so light of a spray i did.
Z Speed Cavy--how long ago did you paint your rims? are you happy with the results? if its been a while since you painted them, how's it holding up?
i have aftermarket rims, not the best quality in the world and they're starting to look kinda bad. i was thinking about painting mine black/gunmetal/or charcoal grey.
what kind of paint did you use?

GO PATS!!!
he used basic paint you can get from autozone. if you feel ambitious, and have spray equipment like a compressor and gun, use that, it will turn out smoother and more even, because no matter how good you are, a rattle can paint job only goes so far.
