I have a chance to get a set of 18" Wanli S-1088 tires for a pretty good price, and I wanted to know if anyone here has had these tires before. Are they any good? The ones I'm thinking about buying are ZR-rated.

i think they are great for what they are worth... i have them and so do 3 or 4 friends of mine. No complaints from them or me. I have them in 17 and i have a friend with them in 18.

The performance is not up to par, but if you need tires for cheap they're acceptable.
their cheap affordable tires. not the best but you'll get by
Thanks for the info guys. Yeah, I'm just looking for some decent tires....they don't have to be too special. I think I'm gonna get a set of these when I get my 18's.

DAMN i thought i was the only one with wanli's just picked up a set of 18" black russ forte's with some wanli's. I had no idea that these where good tires and yes the do stick to the ground like glue.
I have them on my 04 sunfire and i love them. Super cheap to replace, grip pretty well, and look great on the car. I have the 17's though.
everyone has them here, me and like 6 friends

well, like i said, awsome grip, and even better price
i gave em a workout the other day too, we have an entrance ramp to the highway where i live, its rated as a 40mph corner, but i use it as stress releif, and i hit it at about 95 (not totally sure, i hit the rev limiter in 3rd, and shifted to 4th.....so im guessing the 90-95mph range) and the car just slid a little bit to the outside, nothing i couldn't handle at all, in fact it made it incredibly fun

coming back from natomis on highway 80 theres a ramp which goes to highway 50 to harbor blvd west sacramento and i give my wanlis a work out there all the time. Ive gotten it up to 90-95 mph at about the halfway/ 3/4 point in the turn. Just a little slide at the end where it gets tighter... the agxs/bg's and wanlis seem to hold the turn well.
