no, if you lower it, you will need new struts. if you just put wheels on and leave it at stock ride height then it will be fine. i suggest you lower it too if you put wheels on because its going to make your car look like a 4x4
Well, he (baggedcav98) knows more than I do about suspension, but from my personal experience, I've always used my stock struts w/my 18's and both goldine and intrax lowering springs (goldlines on green cav, intrax on the Z, currently have coilovers). I've never had any problems in over 4 years with it.
well putting wheels on will have no effect on the struts. only time your going to have a problem w/ struts is when you lower the car. yes you can keep it on stock struts when you lower it but i dont reccommend it. for a small drop it will hold up ok for a little but they will blow. the stock struts arent meant to any type of lowering.
