Anyone tried these out yet and have an impression? I've got a set of Toyo Proxes TPTs that are about gone and I'm looking for a combination of great performance and will at least MOVE in the snow. Let me know if anyone has them. No one in the registry did. Thanks all for any help you can be.
Look at rating for triple tread on tirerack.com and they rate over 9 for everything. I think they are my choice for next set .
i have them and all i can say is WOW. havent tried them in snow yet but cant wait. a friend of mine seemed pleased with them on his car last winter though.
they are a 60 series and they handle abotu as well as a 50 series around cornering, wet roads arent an issue, doing 65-70 down the interstate and hit a puddle and hardly know its there. i got mine with mount and balance all the warranty goodies, even free tire trouble, roadside assistance through goodyear, all 4 for about $550. im not complaining at all especially since they are an 80000 mi tire and perform like they do. i highly reccomed these tires to anyone for an every day driving tire
04 sunfire auto, mid 15's n/a, and still going
Expensive, but a very good rated tire on tirerack.com - I might purchase these today.
they don't come in a 205 55 16...so i dunno
Yep, they sure do. I was considering getting a set of 15" light weight rims so I could get a bit more contact surface in the future. Thanks so far for all the info guys. I started at the tire rack too and the reviews all say good things. The girlfriend has the assurance comfort treads and while we were getting them installed I noticed the triple treads there. I really like the tread pattern and any kind of good wet / dry performance that will move on snow is a great plus.
yea i just got some for my cavfire gt... awsome tire spent 556.00 but so far so good cant wait till snow
I bought a set of 205-60-16 for my g/f's 05 Accord LXSE coupe. Nice quiet ride. She said they are great in the rain. No snow yet, so no comment on that. The car is a commuter, so no comment on performance handling. They were $475 mounted and balanced, with a $50 rebate from Discount Tire, and a $50 gas card from Goodyear.
My local Discount Tire would price match off the internet, but they look at the total price with shipping. I found the tires on Treadepot, and they were $10 cheaper, with free shipping.
