225/50/16 will they rub on a 1.5 inch lowered cavy

I have searched the site and found that some folks are running a 225/50/16 tire in thier stock 16 inch wheels. What I haven't been able to find is will they or do they rub on a car that is lowered?

I have a 97 Cavalier Convertible with 16 inch Z24 wheels and stock 205/55/16 tires. Since I need tires, I wanted to move to a 225/50/16 tire. I also have a Eibach ProKit and KYB AGX suspension on the way. So I wanted to see if there are any issues or not.

Any information and help is appreciated!

AWD GS

should be fine. if you keep the overall diameter of the wheel you'll be fine w/ a 1.5" drop
