Just picked up some pretty nice 16" polished aluminum rims for my girlfriends cavi, got a sweet deal on them with rubber, but the rims are a little oxidized and a bit tarnished looking. Anyone have any suggestions on the best polishing compound for aluminum rims. I've got 17" chomes on mine so, not too familiar myself when it comes to the aluminum.
I used this stuff on some heavily neglected junkyard alloys. Lots and lots of elbow grease, and Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish, brought out an almost chrome appearance.
Unsure on if it is safe on clearcoated wheels though. Maybe their Clear Coat Wheel Polish is worth a look.
i use mothers billet polish on mine it good stuff
3M polish is the Best Stuff!
