you need hubcentric ring, tuner lugs (i recomend spline drive if they fit in the hole with the key) and obviously you need tires!

^ well he said he's buying them from a person, so i'm assuming theres already tires on them.

and out of curiousity which color you getting? i looked at those rims when i got my tires from edgeracing. definitely like them.

yeah they have tires

what kind of hubcentric ring would i need? im not to sure what they are. do you have a link?

and what are the difference between my stock lugs and tuner lugs? again do you have a link to the exact ones i need?

sorry to ask for so much but i dont wanna buy the wrong @!#$...and i dont really know what this stuff is.

thats the CF hood and rims that i am buying. they are 17's. hell of a deal....700 for both, and tires have 75% thread.

not sure on the size of the hub rings but you need them. search you'll find the answer. as for the lugs, the tuner lugs are skinnier than the stock ones. for lugs you need 12mm x 1.5mm. i also recommend a spline drive kit. if those rims dont have center caps, i dont suggest open end lugs. i would get something like this

thats the kind i have where the socket fits right over the lug. if you get open end lugs, (from what i noticed from experience) is that over time they rust and they start to round themselves out and it makes them harder to get off. ive had my mcgard spline drive kit for about a year and i love them. best lugs ever but they are expensive. cost me almost 90 bucks for my black ones

what exactly is a spline drive kit? are those the types of lugs your talking about?

what do i need to know to find out what type of hubcentric ring i need?

^^ ok thats me getting to anxious. i read it again and those lugs are the kit. i emailed him asking if the rims come with the ring and lugs because that would save me some hassle. the only question i have right now is if i get those lugs....will i be able to get the off with any other socket or just the one they send? is it special?

It's a special socket. Then you put a regular socket on the end of the special socket. Atleast that's the way my Gorillas are.

right the socket is really really thin and it fits over the lug and inside the rim. then you take your own socket and put it on the end of the key and use it to take the lugs off. for the hub rings you need the bore diameter. i believe its 73.1mm but im not positive. just search for hubcentric rings and im sure you'll find the answer

but if you think i do it said most are

all you gotta know is the size of the centerbore on your new wheels
they have the size of the jbody hub (57.1mm i believe)

so i emailed them asking what the centerbore is on those rims. what is the "centerbore" when talking about rims?

no you need them. please get them. basically what it does is take the weight of the studs and put them on the hub. if you dont get them you will shear studs off all the time

Thats not entirely true about the hub-centric rings. They remove some weight but not a whole lot, they all the wheel hub and the hub bore of the car to line up more properly to help "center" the wheel to keep it from any extra movement of the wheel so you dont reciece a vibration.

Hub Centric Wheels
Centered on the vehicle using the wheel's center bore, this minimizing the chance of vibration. The wheel's center bore diameter is michined to perfectly match the diamater of the vehicle's hub pilot. (Many O.E. wheels are hub centric because they are designed by the Manafacturer to fit a specific vehicle/)

Lug Centric Wheels
Centered on the vehicle using diffrent types of fastners (lugnuts and studs or bolts.) As the fasteners are tightened, they adjust the wheel's position relative to the location of the bolt pattern of the hub and wheel.

Wheels that are lug centric must have a lug hole diameter that matches the vehicle bolt pattern exactly.

Hub Centric Rings
Provide a Hub Centric Fit for Lug-centric wheels

They fit into the backside of the wheel's hub opening and are manufactured in various sizes and widths. Their inside diameter is specifically designed to fit the vehicles hub pilot.
