My lip was scratched up when the tire was installed on my wheel. I'm doing my wheels in gunmetal anyway and I wanna polish the lip. Now with polishing the lip what all would I have to do to it? I was told so start off at like a 400 gritt paper and go up to 1000 gritt. now after I polish can I use alcohol to remove the oils from the polish and clear it? Thanks in advance.
