ok, im in the market for some new rims to go along with the new look for spring. i have the big mouth ready to go on, with the air ride, and a few other goodies. i wanna tuck nice, but dont want the rims to look too big with the mild kit. im looking at either 19's or 18's. heres a chop of roughly what it will look like.(the color is a bit dark)
and heres what my car looks like now
heres a pic of one with the same kit and 19's
so what do you guys think? 18's or 19's? i havent been able to decide for months, so figured id get some opinions. id like to get some Axis Spiders, or maybe Konig Uknowns. i have a long list of possibilities, but gotta figure out a size. i also kinda like these. just not sure how well they would go.
thanks in advance for your input

18's if it is going to be mild and you are still going to do a good amount of driving. On those old rims what size tires do you have. The look small.

depends. if they have a lip on them then i say 19's. if the spokes go out to the edge of the rim then i say 18's.
personally i love the g-racing rims
those rims i dont think would look good on a cav. now those rims on a 300c would look hot
19's, go big
what is is yo
ya, i love the G-racing rims. but a lil more than im looking to spend.
and thats also what i was thinking about the ones i showed. look hot on a 300, or benz, or even CTS, but im just looking for something different, that not every car on JBO has something similar to(which i know will be kinda tough).
also, for the 19's, is there a certain width i should be worried about with the air? im assuming 8.5 would be to wide to tuck without scraping, but what about 8?
thanks for all your input.

and offset too. dont wanna trash new rims and tires with the air.
(never did understand the whole offset calc, lol)

i vote 18's. but i like the ones you have.

well, i think im going with either Konig Unknowns, or Konig Tuner 2's in 19's. should i go 7.5" wide, or 8"? and should i get a 215 series tire, or a 225 series? i want as much tuck as possible without killing the tires.
thanks

well the 215 and 225 is the width of the tire so it doesnt matter as much as the 35 series tire your going to be running. you can go w/ the 215 and it will be a tad smaller tire. i say go w/ a 7.5" rim w/ a low offset so you it brings the rims in closer to the strut
what do you think an ideal offset would be?? i never did understand the whole offset thing, lol
RIP Kasey Burleson, and get well soon Chris Shelly
the lower the offset the closer in it is, the higher the offset the farther out it is. 35-38 would be good for air ride. im have bags and im running 48 offset. i just have to roll the fenders a little more thats all
