I noticed when looking at my car that the front wheels are set out further than the back, meaning the front is wheel base is wider than the rear. Im just wondering should i get wheels with different offset for the rear so its close to the width of the front, seems like logically that would improve handling and also look better. Im say if i use a 35mm offset on the front should i use a 45 on the rear or does it really make no difference or is it the other way around? Anyways anyone have any thoughts on this or notice the same thing?

did you not buy all of the same 4 rims?
My wheels are all identical they are 17x7 with a 42mm offset and the winter wheels which are 92 z24 wheels are also the exact same way the front is about 2 inches wider than the rear.

theoretically, you're right.
then again, its not easy to buy two sets of wheels.

put the ones with the closeest offset to original on the front and the other two on the rear. this will give you the best handling and also less chance of rubbing, etc.
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
I know what you are saying. Just get some, oh, maybe 5 mm wheel spacers for the rear hubs. That should push out the rims a little and still let you rotate your tires. I think people have done that on here but i dont know if you need longer studs or not.

Thanks for the answers, ill probably just order 2 spacers. If i need longer studs thats no problem ethier. Im glad im not the only person to notice this.

don't use spacers!!!!! Trust me. I had nightmares last year about what you are thinking about. look at my previous posts. Blew bearings in front. Had to repeatedly buy new lug nuts ( acorn style) and studs not to mention a lot of extra work only to return car to stock. The cavalier is like the new 350Z wider in front, than out back. It was the way the engineers designed it. Your messin with complecated mathematics.
I wish you luck.
Im running 1/4" spacers on rear. Not a problem ever since!
