Nice. Those look like the Torq-Thrust II's. But for FWD cars...of course. Definitely different in a good way.
They remind me of something you'd see on a Mustang
not a fan of them. i never liked american racing rims
I'm not a big fan of chrome (too heavy and blingy for my tastes), but they have a nice pattern to them.

Well...
1: Hate AR
2: That is a design that belongs on old muscle cars
3: Chrome = no.
I don't mean to diss you... but I couldn't imagine why you'd put those on a Cavalier. I'm sure they were very cheap though. My friend had a set of ugly AR's (no idea what model, looked like five triangles though) and high profile tires (205/60-15 or something) and hit a pothole at like 20mph (nothing big, and not going fast) and bent the wheel.
Not a good brand IMO. I would go with something with a better following. ASA, Rota, ADR, something like that.
Thanks for the comments and when I put them on in the spring I will take pics. The reason I go them was because I saw a Black Cavy with AR Aero's and I fell in love with it so i descided to go on the AR website and saw the AR Fusions and thought those would look better. They look like rims on a muscle car.

NO NOT CHROME AR RIMS!!! sorry but when i wash chrome american racing rims at my work the chrome peels right off. treat them well when you get them.
^^Dont worry I will clean the Wheels every night if it rains, and they will only be on in the Summer. They will NEVER go through a car wash.

I know what you mean about the chrome chipping off. I deal with it at my work as well and this applies to most chrome rims. Most of the time though i find out the customer either A) Has aggressive driving habits and has semi metallic pads or B) has a metallic pad and doesn't wash their car regularly. On the other hand if you just wash them on a regular basis you should be ok. Another thing to pay attention to is what cleaners you use. If you use solvent based cleaner or an acidic cleaner you will run the risk of etching or stain you wheels. My best advise to yo would be hot or warm waster with some soap and a little elbow grease.
Oh and i like the rims just not a fan of chrome...... my gunmetal rims hide the dust a little better. can't wait to see pics of them on the car.
I like that hot-rod, old-school look. If only they weren't chrome. Not a big fan of rims that outshine the car.

I don't think they will look right on a J.

Hmm... it seems no one has responded to your tire question.
If you don't want to spend more than $110, you'll have to sacrifice ride quality.
The best bang for your buck right now is the General Exclaim UHP. 225/45-17's run US$73 + shipping. I know a guy that runs them on his 04 Sentra SE-R Spec-V and they are comfortable, and grip like hell. Supposedly good wear too.
Either those or Kumho Ecsta SPT's ($87 ea.) or you can go for uncomfortable but VERY cheap and good performing Sumitomo HTR Z's ($63 ea.)
they look more for a muscle car...
