Just like the title states. I just want pictures of the 225/50/16 tire on the factory 16 rim. I didn't have much luck finding pictures, only infromation on it.
Head on and from the side or any other angles you might have. Thanks.

Those are 225/50-16's mounted on 16x6 wheels.
it would be cool to run those tires on my 16"s but how does it drive with all that tire sticking out of the side of the rim? I took a 205/55/16 and a 225/50/16 off the rack at work yesterday to compare the two and i would love to have the wider tire...looks more bad ass and it looks like it can handle a little bit better in the corners with my suspension set-up. the overall hight of the two tires was very similar (tires unmounted, un-inflated)...the 225 might have been a shade taller.
Thanks for the pic, the tires flare a little bit out, but not as bad as I expected. I could definitely live with that. Now to wear out my stock tires so I can justify buying new tires to my wife
What would be the best way to go about picking a tires pressure? Should it be the same as stock or +/- stock?

Hopefully you don't have the same trouble I'm having. I want 225/50/15 for my car. 225/55/15 is almost identical in overall height to the 195/65/15, but I haven't found many tires in that size. In 225/50/15 I found a lot of tires but the only ones I found in my price range are BFG (G-Force Sport??) and I'm not sure I'll like them. The Advans are nice but they're competition tires and the Yokohama AVS won't last. I have those now and with 20K miles on them they're about shot.

Here is my car with 225/50r16.
sits really nice with the tires, was it a night and day difference from the stock size?

Hold the road a lot better. A lot better traction too.
zsquee24, how'z the ride quality overall? Do you notice cracks and pot holes worse than before?
I'm tryin to do the same thing with mine but I'm not sure of what set of tires to get to make it even more comfy than the crappy RS-As that I got now.
No worse for cracks or pot holes. But, on concrete highways with the groves, the car follows them now.
I have Hankook Ventus HRII H405's. They are a lot better than the RSA's. They do not squeal like the RSA's do in warm weather turning.
So that size can be done on a 16inch rim, no issues stock suspension set up.
thanks zsquee24,
I'm going to my tire dealer to see what deals they have on their 225 50 16s.
I have the BFGoodrich Traction TA/V in the 225/50/16.. love 'em. great in the summer, and they're amazingly good in the snow too.. plus i dont think they were all the pricey.. They're also 1000 times better than the stock RS-A's.. they cover up alot more of the bumps than the RS-A's could ever hope to.
