Thanks
yea 205/55/16 will fit. factory 16" rims are 16x7 and come with 205/55/16's on them. make sure you get the correct offset and blot pattern though, i noticed on the page that its just marks the offset as "high" and doesn't even list a bolt pattern.
GO PATS!!!
I did see that, but the application guide says it will fit Cavaliers.
and here is all the info on those wheels from the manufacturer's website:
Wheel Info
Factory ls sport wheels are 16"x6" Not 16"x7". A 225/50/16 would be better but the 205/55/16 will fit. Just make sure they are 5x100mm and find out the offset.

damn i stand corrected. i thought they were 16x7
GO PATS!!!
According to the specs they have a 42mm offset. They'll fit fine but Id go with the 225mm tire like already said.
Be kind to dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
any reason for going with the 225 tire?
225's will have much better handling.
Make sure to go with 225/50-16.
well, eventually I will go with the 225s. but for now, as long as it is safe to do so, I'll run the 205s since I have 4 fairly new ones.
thanks for the input
Well I wouldn't say that 225's will give you MUCH better handling... if you think about it, 20mm wider is only around 3/4 of an inch.. not that much.

205/55/16's on a 7" wide rim is pushing it, thats why. 3/4" is a lot more tire to me(on a J, where you can't run fat tires)
