Hi All.
I have a 2001 4 door Cavalier with the factory 15" steel wheel upgrade. I found someone selling these rims and with spring coming I am interested in them. I did a bunch of reading on the site here and saw the bolt pattern will match, but there was a warning that "3rd gen Z24 wheels have a different offset" so I was a bit afraid these might not fit after all. Will these rims work on my car and not throw off the speedometer off much?
Here are the rims:
From the calculators I have found on-line, it sounds like my speedometer might be off 1 MPH at the most.. I could handle that. Anyone else try this swap??
I need to get back to this guy selling the rims ASAP so please let me know..
Thanks!
I forgot to say that the tires on the rims in the picture are 205 55 R16.
the rims will be fine. they are 95-99 cav z24 wheels. i had a set for a while on my 03
Great!
Thanks Eazy Ent.!!!
your speedometer wont be off at all if you use 205/55 r16 tires on those rims
Hey now watch what you are calling vintage hahaa... Those were the winter wheels on my '99 Cavy.
