Well I put my new wheels on, and my luck...that night someone attempted to jack them while i was in a concert. Luckily I was walking out and saw them, but by the time I got to my car they took off. Anyways I looked at my wheels the next day in the light and they totally stripped the face of my locking lock nut. Having no idea on how to take the wheel off due to not being able to get this bugger of a lug off, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas. Thanks.
Go to / call a tool shop (an actual real TOOL shop, one that only sells tools, look in the phone book) and ask them if they have a wheel lock removal kit. We have one in my shop but I don't know where they got it from. You can try that.
Actually... they're the round locks with the swirly design in the center (sorry best description I could come up with
)? You can take a socket that is just bigger than the outside diameter and... if you're willing... hammer that bitch on to the lock and try to remove it like that. You'll ruin the socket though, but we've had to do that in my shop too... with customer approval.
