"Told her not to go there..."
Well my mother just got some nice Unidirectional tires. Well I was looking at them and the one side was mounted backwards. The stupid ass shop mounted them rotating in the wrong direction.
Well she takes it back today and they tell her it will be fine, and they can roll in both directions. She calls and tells me that, ".....see you don't know everything about cars......" She told me that the technician told her I was wrong. So I take a half day vacation from work and go to the shop. They tell me they will change them, but I have to pay for the rotation. I politely told them to go @!#$ themselves, and going to tell the whole @!#$ world how god damn dumb they are.
So anyway I persuaded my mom to go to the tire place I go to, and they fixed it for free.
Ok, I feel a lot better now...........

... i know its not your fault, but why the hell did you let her go by herself?!?!
lol
its kinda funny. im an installer myself, and even i have mounted uni's wrong before, but i have never let a car go out of the shop like that.
even if i did, i wouldnt have charged the person for my mistake, thats just ascinine (spelling?).
anyways, im glad everything got sorted out with the tires. but just out of curiousity which model of tire was it? and please tell me it wasnt a costco tire shop that mounted them wrong (if it is i can get them in @!#$ for you if you want
).
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
i had that happen to me once. i was getting the car repainted and i didnt even think to look at the tires since i figured they were smart enough to put them back on right and i didnt notice til it was raining one day and i couldnt figure out why my car kept sliding every where
