Ok I got some new rims. Theyre 18x7.5jj with a 42" Offset. I was just wondering what size tire would work best for handling and speed change. Also everything else I need to do it right the first time...Im gonna have an 8+ hour drive with these with no way of fixing anything so I really need to get it right the first time. Should I get new lugs and stuff like that. I am getting adjustable springs because Im gonna have to take them off in the winter. When it comes to rims and tires and pretty much anything thats not electric I pretty much dont know anything other than what I read here so any info would be greatly appreciated.
get either 215/40/18 or 225/40/18 for tires. make sure you get hub centric rings with them. as for lugs you will more than likely need to get new lugs. the lugs should be 12x1.5
Thanks....whats the difference between the two? I just wanna make sure I get everything right because I dont my wheel shaking or flying off while Im in the middle of the turnpike with no place to go.
215 has a smaller sidewall than 225. get 225 if you want to do it right the first time....more tire on the road.....better handling.
^^^ There isn't a big difference between those 2, he can go with either. The 225/40/18 is the normal choice here.
Bagged, where do you get the rings?

I don't think they will work if they have a 42" offset.
