Is it at all possible or safe to machine the bolt pattern on rims? I found a set of rims that I think would look great on my Cavy. When I went to go put them on to see if they fit all the holes would line up but one. And the one hole that did not line up was off by maybe 2mm. If I was to machine the holes on the rims would it work? Is it worth the risk? Or is it all together a bad idea. The rims are made of polsihed alluminum. Thanks for the input.

not worth it, i would just get the proper rims
Hmm.. Ok well just wondering because I dont have $1200 to spend on rims and tires. These are a really nice set of rims with new Kuhmo tires he is selling me for $150 for the set.

if it was a blank hub then i would say so but then again if it was a blank hub it would be a custom one of wheel probably.
Not worth it at all!
Why don't you sell those wheels and tires if they're nice.
That should put you a good way to your own set wouldn't it?
