buddy of mine is looking to "get rid" of his car and wants to trade his rims with my stock 03 ls rims.... question is are the vin numbers posted on the rims somewhere... somewhere that could be found later? I dont want my vin number ridin around the state....

if your that worried you shouldn't pull your car out of your garage. if someone wanted your VIN# that bad they could just walk up to your car in a parking lot somewhere.
