I couldn't find the exact torque number for the lugs, anyone know what it is? I think it's between 80-100 lb ft, but I'm not sure. Thanks.
Almost all GM cars is 100lbs.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
Even for Tuner lugs? I was thinking of getting them torqued to about 90 lb ft.
the tuner lugs should be rated for more than 100ft-lbs, i would hope.
the torque specs for just about every GM except for the trucks and a few cars, its is 100 ft-lbs, or atleast for our j-bodies it is.
the torque is based on the material of the lugs, the studs, and i believe the spacing of the studs would increase or decrease the force on the rim aswell.
the nuts should be able to handle 100 ft-lbs, but if they can't torque them to the maximum that the lugs can handle. some lugs (ive seen it on some fords) actually have the max torque they can handle stamped on them.
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
