Hey all,
I'm planning on getting some old 14" rims from a late-80's Sunbird or Cav for my winter tires (someone near me has some for sale at a reasonable price). I understand that the bolt pattern and offset are the same, but I just wanted to make sure that they would fit over the brakes on a '03 Z24. I'm assuming the Z brakes are the same as the ones on the base model. Does anyone know, or has tried putting 14" rims on a Z?
the base modles come with 14" steelies, all the brakes are the same, I store my silver cav (highest model all the options) on old 14"s for winter. they will fit fine
My '03 came with the 14" steelies, no problem with them fitting. I'm going with 17x7's in the near future and keeping my 14" steelies for "just in case".

03 Z24? I didn't know that was possible...

Yep. Americans got the LS Sport while us Canadians stuck with the Z24
Among the winners, there is no room for the weak
