Looks good... now just don't scratch them getting your tires back on

They look great, would have never thought it came from a can! Post some pics when you get them mounted.
Thnx guys/gals. So far only one has been done. I am lazy, but I have my moments. No rush, looking for a good set of tires. Personally, I abso-f&$*ing-lutely hate Michelin all season tires. Hard as nails, even new. Treadwear on the Destinys I have is 740 for @!#$ sake.
This poses my dilemma, err question. What tires would you recommend? Price may or may not be an issue. I'm looking at sizing these new tires in at 205-225/55-45R16. Somewhere in that range. What's worked well for you? I'm eyeing a set of Falken Azenis or Ziex. So far, best bang for my buck. What else is there?
very hot. finish the back though and mount them i want to see them on a J

Thats the stuff I used on my camaro wheels too. Only I used the Duplicolor wheel coating clear coat over them.
Oh and they were in the graphite finish too...not bronze.
I loved em though. Came out great.

make sure and do the lugs bronze too
any idea what the finish will withstand in terms of wear and tear?
See, you have me wanting to do that now!!!
That is gorgeous, though i doubt i could do that good of a job.
Go Go OG Traction!!
Wear and tear shouldn't be a major dilemma. It's two medium coats of lacquer.
What's the best trick to getting spraypaint to look good? Okay, two tricks. PREP. Do it right, or just go play with yourself in the corner instead. Two, HOT WATER. Yep, fill your sink or a bucket up with hot water (tap hot, not boiled hot). Let your spray cans soak in it. A heated spray can (do not torch the damn things.. they DO explode) will spray much finer since the propellent pressure is increased. Also helps get that last bit out of the can too if neccessary.
damn they are glossy looking.

I thought for sure that they were professionally painted at a body shop or powder coated or something...Looks DAMN good! Can't wait to see pics of them on the car..
And as far as tires go, I have had excellent luck with the BFGoodrich Traction T/A tires. I believe I have the H speed rating...the more expensive ones. Have had good wear and they ride very nice. On sale, I got them for $104 each.

I did the exact same thing
.
I was actually looking around for somebody that painted their stock Z rims bronze, was wanting to do it myself until I got my new set of rims. Thanks for the pics and ideas now I can do this myself.

I got my lacquer spray through my parts provider for the shop. I'm sure it can be had a Canadian Tire or Autozone or Parts Source or any other parts/auto store. It's not top quality lacquer, but if you heat the cans up in a sink/bowl of hot water it'll spray 110 times better. I'd suggest doing the same with your primer and wheel paint as well. Heated spray cans spray much finer.
