will 18 by 7.5 w/ 36mm offset and 225 40 18 work

ya it should i dont see y not... but i think ur 225 needs to be like 215 i dont think thers tha much room with 7.5 inches..

225 would fit fine on a 7.5" wheel.

i have 225/40/18's.
they fit just fine.
no problems at all.
