Same wheel... Different size.... so different offset?

I'm trying to decide between 17's or 18's for these Kazera KZ-B rims. 17's have an offset of +35mm and 18's have an offset of +48mm. Is this normal? I know offset is how much debth the wheels are in the wheelwell but i didn't think the diameter of the rim would have anything to do with the offset. I'm guessing I have to go with 17's cause the offset for the 18's is a little high right?

its not uncommon for wheels to have different offsets. whats the width of each wheel? if its 7 or 7.5" you'll be fine with either offset

the width is 7.5". so the 17's will come out a little more then the 18's right?

if their both 7.5" then yes the 17s will stick out a little more then the 18s. i was running an 18x7.5 with a 48mm offset w/ no problem.
