I've got a 03 sunfire that came stock with the steelies and 195/65/15s, I want to run a wider tire but keep the steelies for the time being and was wondering if a 205/60/15 would work alright or if a 205/55/15 would be better? The difference is minimal from what I can tell but the 55 sidewall is about $20 more per tire than the 60 sidewall plus I'm not sure what the rim width is (6" maybe??) I just got the car so I don't know a whole lot about it but I have had in the past a 1984 olds firenza, 1986 olds firenza, and recently a 1993 saturn sc2. Also where can I find the tag that says the dimensions of the tires and load limits?

Any idea on what the widest tire I can run on steelies is without rubbing issues?

it was my impression that the steel rims were 14" not 15"

there are 15" steelies and i had these on my 99 for a few years with no problem
