I have tried to to a little looking arround and I don't really know what I should be looking for.
I am wanting to put a 235/45r17 on the car, it has the eiback pro kit springs, I am trying to decide on what wheels I need,
either a 17X7.5 or 17X8.
I guess the question is, what rim size would look better, with the 235/45r17's, and what should I look for for an offset?
I am thinking that something like a 40-45 offset would be ideal,
any pictures and actual knowledge would be great, I have a good idea, but don't want to waste time or money trying to get the right fit and look.
I also don't want to use spacers, don't feel like they are safe.
thanks alot,
Steve
why a bigger tire? if you want a wider tire get a 235/40
I was originally thinking the 235/40 but that is a drop in size if I am not mistaken, I think just about 2% smaller, I would rather go 2% bigger than smaller.
the '40' is the width of the tire, not the sidewall.
but that is backwards,
235 is the section width,
40 would be the aspect ratio(or sidewall), height of the sidewall as a % of the width.

Are you kidding???? Where do you get your info from?
example:
My 215/35/19's are as follows
215mm's is the width
35% of 215mm's is the SIDEWALL
