yeah i just got some 17 inch wheels and tires and i weigh them today and one of them with tires weigh 41lbs is that alot for 17s?
sounds about right, most tires of the sizes we need weigh about 20-24ish pounds, and rims about the same I would imagine from what I have seen, so ya, that is right.
those tires dont weight that much.
41lbs is heavy as balls
bfgoodrich G-force sport
225/45ZR17 SL Treadwear: 340 Traction: AA Temperature: A340 AA A 1356 lbs. 44 psi 10/32"
23 lbs.
so it could be 41 lbs

Kazera KZ-A Dual PCD
"lightweight" of 20 lbs
Zinik Z7 Adrian
23 lbs
so 41 lbs is not out of the question.
even more..
motegi mr7 17x7 +40 5 1/2 5x100 & 5x4.5 24.5 lbs.
bridgestone potenze RE070
225/45ZR17 27 lbs
runflats of the same size are about the same too, so it all depends on the tire
so you could have a rim and tire that weigh over 50 lbs with a 225/45r17 tire on it.
I am not talking out of my rear, I do know a few things about rims and tires.
