That tire size is shorter than stock by 6%, so rubbing should not be an issue... it is 40mm wider though, but still should be fine.

Get 225/55's instead. That thing is going to throw off your speedo, and it's going to look like a 4X4. The a 45 series on the 15's, even if you step it up to 225, will be way too small. At least with the 55, it will be about the same height as stock, and give you the wider footprint.

Stock size on our cars is a 195/65r15 on a 6" wide rim, they will be too wide for the stock wheel, 15x7's should solve that. The 45 series will be shorter, but will improve acceleration, the 55 series will be slightly taller than the 195/65R15's that came stock. I say go with the 225/45ZR15 on a 15X7 and it will work fine.

The 55's will actually still be shorter by 1/4". The 225/55's will go on a 6" rim. I have 225/45's on a 6.5" rim (17's) and they fit fine. The taller aspect ratio will be more forgiving to the narrow rim as well.
