I just got a new set of 18" wheels and the clear coat on the lip is coming off and looks like crap!!! Also 3 of the 4 have curb rash. I was wondering if anyone could assist me in tell me how to re-clear the lip to make it look new again.I was also wondering what has to be done to re-paint the whole rim. I have an idea how to repaint it and what to use but input from everyone whould be great. Thanks in advanced

Well to reclear the lip you would have to exactly that, strip the wheel of all current clear and have it resprayed. You could strip it by sanding, but that would mess up the lip and you would need to repolish it, or use that spray on paint striper stuff. To repaint the whole rim it would be the same, strip paint from wheel, then repaint.
