Centercap Logo Question.
Saturday, January 26, 2008 6:11 PM
I have a set of 03-04 Cavalier Z24 rims (Chrome). Im planning on painting it black this summer because im going for a red/black theme. My Question is:
The centercap on those rims has a carbon fiber look with yellowish chevy logo. I want to paint the logo red but but still keep the CB look on it, is there anyway to do this or should i just ditch the idea and paint the whole centercap black? Thanks guys.

just tape it off sand down the yellow and paint it yourself + you get the "I did it myself" feeling instead of the I ordered it and paid for it feeling...

sometimes it's just easier to order things new than redo it. i definately wouldnt go through the work to repaint the bowtie red on such a small, cheap item, unless i was EXTREMELY bored.... in that case a very fine model paintbrush and a steady hand is what you'll need

it's not about being cheap it's about NOT, just clicking a mouse and entering your credit card #... it's called DIY for a reason... not trying to argue some people are better @ ordering and others @ doing... point made not another word from me...

i ordered the red/cf ones from gmpartsdirect and ended up paying close to $55 with shipping. they are like $11.50 each on there. but it was definitely worth it.
