I am going to be painting my rims different but i have to tires that need to be replaced. should i
1. Paint then gets the new tires on
or
2. New tires the just tape them off and go ahead and paint.

Any help from people that have done this or any advice at all would be graet Thaks.

Depends on your painting skill, as well as who you let change your tires.

I would personally do it with the tires off, but it can be done well with tires on.

Thanks man i planned on tapin off the rubber and everything and as for the guys that would prob be changin the tires they seem to be pretty good they put on new tires on my old wheels and seemed to come out well thanks again

how bout you put the tires on and deflate them so it'd be easier to mask them off.......

but yeah, either way has a risk. you could paint them with the tires off and then whent they are putting them on they could scratch the paint up.. or if you paint with the tires on, you could get some on your tires or not turn out as good due to taping job.

paint them with the tires off. whoever puts your tires on, if they are half decent will not chip your wheels.
