Any way to cram these under a Cav? What rim size also... 8 or 8.5? Is a 7.5 possible?

Thanks. That helps a lot!

Anyone know of any 16x8"+ wheels? Lightweight needed. This is going to be my autocross wheelset.

i have a set of 16'z with the 205 /55/r16's and before lowering i had a lot of room and when i lowered it i still did. but i do have maybe a half and inch from my spring perch with my current set-up maybe a lil less.

I seriously doubt you'll be able to get 245/45/16's on a J-body. I'd go for 225/50's, or *maybe* 235/45's, but that's about as wide as I'd try to get on the car, especially if it's for auto-x, because you're going to be driving hard, increasing chances of rub.

I just did i tire caculator just being curious height wise you would be fine but the width would be pushing it might clear and might not. With that set-up to mine those tires would just be a hair of 3/4 of a inch wider which i am sure i could clear on the black but not sure on the front but would also depend on the off-set of the rims. I'd go with Quiklilcav and possibly go smaller. And maybe u should go his sizes the 225/ 50 is the same width as my 225/45/r17 which is 8.85 inch wide. The 235/45 a 9.25 inches wide. Neither4 should throw your speedo of by more than 1.5 mph.
