I have a set of 215/35ZR19 Nitto Neo-Gen.
Just wondering if anyone has used those and if you have had any problems with them.
Ya the rubber started to fade and wear away. It was weird.
Mine are wearing really quick.... I heard you must have excessive camber to use those tires, but Idk.... anyone else had any problems with them?
JUNK!!!!!!!!!!
later,james
you don't NEED to have crazy camber to run them. They advertise that excessive camber wont destroy them.
as for the tires themselves....
I put them through hell
Never had any problems with them.
I didnt care much for them. The tread however looked nice.
I had them for about 6,000miles. ALL BALD! replaced 2 last summer, BALD! Got me some General EXCLAIM UHP's to replace them. I heard they are great for wear.
I liked the look of the NEO GENs, but the life SUCKED! I do ALOT of expressway driving and only in the Summer, Maybe the Heat from the road makes em wear fast.
I had 5K on mine including racing the car is dead of the summer and they still looked like new. I have no idea how you managed to kill them that fast.
^^^ yea i have had mine for almost 9k miles and they still look brand new, with exception that i dont drive in winter and i put maybe 75 miles on them in a week but they still look great
hondas are like tampons.....every pu$$y needs one...
mildly built 99' ln2, eagle h-beam rods, wiseco forged alum. pistons, cusco oil catch, t3/t4 super 60 garret, tial 40 mm wastegate, hp tuners, prothane mount inserts, 2.5" exhaust.
You want to put 19" rims on a J-body? thats rediculous
I have 19's on my J already I just wanted to know if they wore quick for anyone else cause they are wearing fast for me, but I think Ill get BF goodrich Gforce TA (new tread design)
I was looking at putting 20's or 22's on my J, but I dont know yet.
My buddy was all about them, put on his womans eclipse, and they are hydroplaning like a mo-fo.
Installed with alignment, rotated regularly, and all. He retracts his initial comments after only 13k.
I think that theres better tire out there for the money, but you just don't know until you try them yourself.

Maybe it is the 215/35/19 size, that is what the OP said he had also. All I know is that the General EXCLAIM UHP is more affordable and seems to be holding up GREAT SO FAR. Another member of my club has 215/35/19 in the same General Tires and Shes loves em.
