Help With Tire Choice

I am looking into getting new tires for my car.

I have a set of 16" MR-7 Wheels on the car. The tires on the car now are NITTO NT450's (well, one is a brand I forget, it was replaced before I got these wheels)

The NITTO tires are 205/55 16's

1) Will a wider tire fit on these wheels? What size?

2) I need help with a tire choice. I drive the car 100+ miles a day on the highway. I drive a bit aggressively at times. I want something with good longevity, as I will have a million miles on them in no time. I need something with good wet traction. The NITTO's feel a bit loose at 70+ on the highway when its a bit saturated. I would also like to have something that can hook up well as well for when I finally get a chance to get to a track (Id hate to have to switch to drag radials when I finish my build).

Will the NITTO tires do most of that with full tread, and possbly if theyre wider?

Otherwise, what would you choose? heres a few of the tires I saw and thought maybe theyd be good... I dont know anything about tires really, so I need some advice.

Choice One, The NITTO's
First Choice
Second Choice

Third Choice

Thanks for the help!

Am not sure how much you're willing to pay but for around $90 ea. you get long lasting yokohomas or michelins.
Am also looking into buying a set of 4 tires and i spend a lot of time on the highway during school.

Am looking into these..

i am a fan of bridgestones... I would go with the 960 personally. I don't think discount lists it in your size. But they make it..
Potenza 960
