Didn't find this on the search, but will a 215/60/15 fit on a 97 Sunfire? It looks like it's almost the same exact dimensioans as the stock GT wheel except that's a 16. Any help in appreciated.

Ok well I just found a thread that said it will but I really wanna make sure because I just came back from a tire place that said they won't fit.

225/55 15 is the same overall height as stock, but im not sure you can run that w/o rubbing. 215/60 is too tall. 205/60 is very close, .3% too fast.

I know for a fact that the 215/60r15 will not fit on a 92 z24, rubbs on the shock (the part that sits over the tire)

but I don't know how different it is from the sunfire, I have 205/70r14's on my sisters cav, stock height,

I have put a few sets of 205/65r15's on cavs, look kinda funny, but they fit,

I have put 215/55r16's on a 99 cav and it fit no problems.

that may help

i wouldnt imagine it would be any differen for sunfires... minus the exterior, a cav is a fire; a fire is a cav.

are you on stock shocks?
