A question about black wheels on a car
Sunday, April 27, 2008 7:56 AM
I noticed over the past few years that many car owners have been either running no hubcaps or painitng them black or even stock rims black.

I never understood what the reason behind this is and is it just a fad or something?

black wheels add to a cars look . and if its a black car it give it a steathy look . i never cared for black wheels, but i do like gummetal , graphite, or even something with a charcoal look

I'd only get black wheels because on a deep blue it would look sweet. Although, chrome would look cool too. I guess it's all in personal preferance.

Few Reasons it cleans up the looks at times. and may of us that live in areas that get snow during the winter we like to switch to stockies with winter tire on em(because smaller wheel means cheaper tire), some people spend money on winter rims i dont i just go stock.

i just prefer the look of black wheels, thats why i did black, that and it stands out quite a bit on a white car.

although.. i think it goes well with any color actually.

Riddle me this... riddle me that...
