So Im looking at picking up a set of rims using the Refund Stimuli thing and Im wondering if they will fit

18x8"
+35 Offset
Going with a 35 tire, not sure on tire width yet?

Also im on AIR, rolled fenders already.

-thanks!

I would think they would fit. I'm running a 17x8 with a 35 offset. I'm have 45 tires of course, Falken RT-615's. they have huge shoulders, and it looks like they would only rub just a hair.

Hmm Im Just worried about when I lay it down, I ride low, Most likely will tuck the whole tire in the rear when riding, I just don't wanna gouge up my rim on the inner 1/4panel.

Friend has some 18x7.5 +35 with a 40 tire I may try just to testfit clearance.

SO lets see

Im going to test-fit one of Clints Re-verbs tonight, which is a 18x7.5 with a 40 tire on a +42 offset.

So When I test-fit that I can Measure out a 1/4" Wider on the face and back of the rim with a -2 offset right? I think....

Thats right...I think?

someone can back me up on this because im not the grestest on offsets but with a 19x8 you need a 42 or 45 offset and that can require rolling the lip. so im not sure youlle be able to tuck a 35 offset. dont think them being 18's will change anythong dramatically to make them fit versus a 19

Im getting a +40, if necessary I can get a +3 or +5mm spacer, but i dont think ill need that.

Ill find out soon enough, been working late but another friend has some 18x8 +40 rims im gonna try.

^offset works like this.........

higher the number, the more it sits inward..

lower the number, the farther out it sits.

+40 will put them 5mm toward the inside more, plus the 6.35mm (1/4") extra width on each side

If my Calculations are correct I will need 2 and 7/16" out from th hub of clearance (thats rim width 8" /2 = 4in-40mm offset)
