i need to know if 12MM X 1.25 lugs will fit on my cavalier. 1999 2 dr 2.2L. Need Help ASAP!

yes, that is for the thread of the stud, what you will need to worry about is if the size of the lug will fit in the hole of the wheel,
many aftermarket wheels need to have tuner lugs used as they have smaller lug holes, also make sure the seating surface of the lug nut matches the wheel(usually will be the same)
and I hope it does not need to be said, but use hub centric rings
