Thumping noise
Wednesday, June 11, 2008 6:58 PM
I just put on my SRT-4 rims today with the BfGoodrich g-force KDW's on (which are new), and it seems on my front passenger side there is a thumping that only occurs under 30 mph, and only when I am gliding. I'm thinking its something with the brakes, but I didn't futz around with the brakes, just changed from steelies to my rims. Any ideas?

i'd say take the rim off. and take another one off. and swap em'.

i doubt it, but maybe the lugs aren't tight enough?

just 2 suggestions i can think of 2 maybe be the problem.

maybe the rim and tire aren't balance correctly? idk........

Ok, doesn't sound too serious (as if my whole front axle were to fall off haha) I'll have to take a look at it tomarrow, keep the ideas coming until it's fixed

just incase if it were the strut mounts, how would I fix that?

if it were your strut mounts, the car would sound like @!#$ over a bump. kinda like the whole front end is gonna fall off!
