EXel GT-S 18X7.5 offset of +45 fronts and +35 rears??
Tuesday, September 09, 2008 6:38 PM
I'm looking for some new rims and found these:
18X7.5 +45 http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=14472
18X7.5 +35 http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=14962
The question is could I run +45 for the fronts and +35 for the rears or would i be better off with 4 rims of +45 offset
**P.S. I'm lowered on sportlines.

That's a very good offset for a 7.5" rim on our cars. Why do you say they will look like sh!t?

i love how everyone thinks that 10 mm of offset is gonna throw everything off.

and off the factory wheels the front at a 45 mm offset you will be Inner Clearance: 22 mm less on the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)

Outer Position: Extend 16 mm from position of the outside edge of the wheel)

and rear on a 35 mm offset you will be Inner Clearance: 12 mm less on the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)

Outer Position: Extend 26 mm from position of the outside edge of the wheel)

off your factory 16" z24 wheel

as for rotating the tires if theres a huge issue pull the tires off and swap them onto the other wheels.

On a 7.5" width, I'd go with the 45, because the 35 has more of a potential for rubbing, especially if you're lowered.

I'm running with +35 on 18" 7.5's, but I also rolled my fenders cause I'm very close. It just was the look I was going for.
