Fitment question
Thursday, September 11, 2008 10:31 AM
So, I'm looking at ordering 17" 5-Zigen FN01R-C Hot Version Wheels with a 48mm offset and 225/45/R17 falken rt-615 rubber. Am I going to have a problem with these rubbing with sportlines and koni yellows?

and they are 17x7....my other option would be 17x8 with a 35mm offset...but I'd really like to go with the 17x7's because they are lighter

THe 17x7 with 48mm offset will be fine. It will probably look tucked like a factory rim, but you shouldn't have any rubbing issues. The tire size is perfect.

The 17x8 with 35mm offset will stick out too much and hit your fenders. It's a half inch less offset, and an inch wider. That ends up moving the outter edge an inch further out total. It would look pretty sick if you put the 8's in the back with 255/40's, though.

I agree, put the 7s in the front and 8s in the rear.

Got pics of the car?
