I have a 97 Cavalier with 16x8 eagle wheels which I bought used with bad tires. I want to know what size or tires I need. the current size of the tires is 205/60r16 but these seem a little tall. They could be the right size. The wheels came off a Grand Am or Grand Prix can't remember which right now
I miss my Cavalier, even if it made 100 hp on a cold day and had more suspension then it deserved.
You need to search as to it's out there next time. But i have a set of eagle chrome 5spoke 16's on my fire. Any way the size you need is 205/55-16 but if it would be me i would go with a 225/50/r16. Since they would be wider by i think around 20mm, i might be wrong on the mm but they will be wider. In which you should clear them fine and only affect your speedo by .1mph.

my experience with wide kumho's wasn't so good. Well not on my t/a atleast. They wear real quick and sucked in the rain. Same way with the set that was on my 17's. But i got the tires for 46 a piece.My cousin runs a tire place so i get them for his price. I have a japan brand now something by the name of hero. That was like 62 i think and all honesty i love um. Handle great, good in snow and we roads, plus i've had them almost a year with hardly no wear at all. All on a good number of burnouts and peel outs.
