R-1 Hype wheels
Saturday, September 06, 2008 6:49 PM
Well as much as I hate too do it, I found another wheel. I am thinking about going with a staggered setup. 18x7.5 in the front with a 18x8 in the rear with a 3" lip. The wheel is the R-1 Hype. I am really liking how this wheel looks. I found them on a tC and fell in love.

I just have to get a couple things of mine sold before I can get these. Getting too much crap sitting around, Gotta sell my 17" wheels, my alpine cda-9833, the muffler from my vibrant catback, and my rk sport cold air extension.

I like those rims a lot. The only thing that bugs me, and it seems to be getting more popular with rim companies, is the name or logo on the spoke. Kind of hurts the cleanliness of the design IMO.

Here is the new wheel chop on the car, it's poor quality but it kinda gives an idea.

I think you should just look into just getting different offsets for the car front and rear. Cause do we really need wider out back?

It's individuality, If every car was the same it would be very boring. I am making the car my own. I actually like the staggered look and if I like it why not do it.

If you are going staggered, I would run 18s in the front, 19s in the back, or 17s with 18s in the rear.
