i have a set of 18x8 +45 forte wheels
right now i have diamondback 225/40/18
since i got these i have been rubbing alot of curbs. when i when too look at the wheels i noticed that the wheel sticks out further then the tire. by about 1/4 to a1/2"
would i bump up to a 235/40/18 or a 235/35/18 since it might make the side wall taller
any help would be great thx
looks like is gonna be a 235/40/18
or actually i found one better i was using
this and found that 245/35/18 is acually closer to stock
so i quess that that should make it wide enuff to fix the problem with the wheels sticking out
but do you think that they will rub or will i have to get a flaired bodykit and space out the wheels
Maybe try not driving so close to the curb?
That always helps me from hitting the curb.
you know what its like driving in the city in grid lock traffic every day
sometimes just fitting 2 cars in a given area is hell
so ima do what i have to do to keep my wheels lookin nice
plus me and my girl share a car so what happens when she has it i cant control
maybe wheels arent for you then. city driving is no excuse. its not hard to tell how far you are from a curb.
better a curb then a big a$$ suv taking up 2 lanes when your trying to get into the gas station
