i know the lug pattern is 5x100 and the tire size is 215/45/17??? will that work

yes because the lug pattern is the same .. and the offset is damn close
but no... because the center bore on the sc ion Tc rims are small then the cavalier or sunfires. you would have to get the scion rims bored out a couple mm to fit the cavalier hubs.
3.1mm to be exact. the scion bore is 54, the cav/fire bore needs to be 57.1. I have seen it done, and taken part in having it done...look up Inochi. He has Scion TC wheels on his cav.
thanks for the fast feedback guys i think im going to have to pass on them because i have no way of boring them out. hopefully i'll come accross some 17s or 18s for a good deal so i can quit rockin the steelies lol
