1995 Eclipse GTX rims fit on 1996 Cav

I read somewhere that the Mistusbishi Eclipse rims (Gen 1-2) where the same 5x100 as the j-body.
Can anyone else confirm this?
also, are the OEM offsets similar?

did some digging, and the Eclipse rims are 5x114.
