hey everyone
I was wondering if someone could tell me really quick what the range of offset is for a cavalier that hasn't been modified at all? What is the offset of the stock rims on a 2004 cavalier? I don't know what rims will fit and which ones won't.... the bolt pattern is 5x100mm, correct?
any help is appreciated. thanks!

pattern = 5x100
offset range = 35mm - 45mm

no. there will be a number after the size of the rim. example: 17x7. or 18x8. the wider the rim, u want alittle lower offset. so it doesn't rub on your suspension.
i have 18x8's w/ a 42mm offset. if i went w/ a 45mm offset. i probably would rub.

okay, that makes sense. So what would be the limit of rim diameter without doing anything else? I think that I'm only going to get like a 17 or 18", but im just curious where the point is that the rim is too big?

8" wide is probably the limit as far as not modifing anything.
