Hey guys, so I was going to buy a new set of tires for my cav this summer, but a guy around town offered me a pair for $20. I looked at the specs of my current set and they are 195/70R14.
This guy's pair are also for a 14" rim but they are 185/??R14. Will it make a difference if I have 185 on the rims instead of 195? I will of course be buying two more tires to match these if they'll work. I guess my only concern would be that the speedometer would read incorrectly if the wheel circumference was no longer the same.
let me know,
thanks

well you dont want them to be too small. but you'll be fine on a 185 as long as it is 185/60-75 and for twenty bucks you cant beat it
alright. Since these are skinnier tires I'll probly just use them as winter tires or something. Yeah the $20 part was the main reason that I was interested in the deal. But this is really the first time that I've bought tires myself so I just am a little unsure, you know?
thanks for the help
