ok so i came across some 20s but my question is .....if i have a all stock cavalier base 15 inch wheels whats a good offset and width on a rim ?and what tire is best ? i heard 225/35/20 and 225/30/20
correct tire size is 225/30/20......7.5" rim with a 42mm offset should be perfect
do u have pics of urs? i would like to see what they look like
any rubing iseues or anything?
20x8 - 38mm offset - 225/30/20 - bagged and no rubbing
does anyone have 20s on stock cavalier ? pics plz
Dude if they fit on a bagged u won't rub stock. Although will probably look like a monster truck not lowere at all
Same wheels on my stock 03 - NOT lowered
Slightly larger than stock
Alwayed loved your cavi juicy!
hows the ride on 20's? im very interested in getting a set
well theres not much tire...so you gotta be very careful for bumps and potholes.....and you feel any little bump, but its fine...lol
I don't fell every little bump. Then again my car rides on air bags. I find with airbags that the ride is better with my 20s over the stock wheels. Dropped my car off to be painted last month, put the stock wheels on and those along with the air ride made it WAY TOO soft of a ride. Felt sloppy. So I prefer the 20s My 19s were great too.
Potholes are bad on ANY car wheel/tire combo.
