ok i need help fast my tires are shot as in the steel bands are coming through on one and the other side isnt far off my tow other tires ar ok but still close to bald i dont have money for new tires but i do have a set of tires sitting in my yard but are 215/65r16 my tire size on my car is 205/55r16 and i know the 216/65 would hit the struts in the rear does anyone know how thick of a spacer i would need to get them on my car for now till i get paid and can get new tires of find better ones at a yard cuz i get out of work after the junk yards close. PLEASE HELP QUICK!!! i need to know before i get off work and ill just mount my own tires and pick up spacers. i dont want a blow out!! and they'll be going on the rear just till i can get better tires cuz i cant put all 4 on cuz clearance wouldnt allow me to turn fully...would 15mm be enough i might have those somewhere...also if it is how long of studs would i need?

just went to a junk yard and got some tires that i knew would fit
205/55/r16 and 225/50/r16 are the same outside diameter, and clear the struts fine. You can go lower in sidewall if you want...

yeah i know 205/55 and 225/50 are the same od i was asking about 215/65 but i bought 2 225/45 and 2 225/50 for real cheap. i couldn't find a matching 4 so ill just deal with this for a little bit till i find 2 more 225/45
